Baseball

Baseball season is on its run. Opening Day started April 5th at 1:00. Opening Night started April 4th at 8:00. Baseball season started in Boston, Massachusets at Fenway Park. The Boston Red Sox played the New York Yankees. Boston-New York is the biggest rivalry in Major League Baseball. The rivalry started when the Red Sox traded their best pitcher Babe Ruth to the Yankees. Babe Ruth later became the best power hitter of his time. Babe Ruth then turned into an alcoholic and ended his career with 714 homeruns. Opening Day started in Cinncinatti with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cinncinatti Reds. In the first inning the greatest power hitter of all time Albert Pujols hit a 3 run homerun to start his career. Then in the fifth he hit a single and in the 7th he hit another homerun. The cardinals won after the 4th inning and in the 9th Yadier Molina hit a grand slam. (the first of the season.)
